issues to be important in identifying factors that make fertility decrease. This study aims at studying fertility ideals and factors affecting them in city of Mohr. The main propose of this research is to determine the relationship between planned behavior theory with fertility ideals. Using survey method with questionnaire, this subject was examined between 376 women of 15- 49 ages whom were chose via systematic sampling. The findings of the study show that the number of 2 to 4 children is highly common for women which mean that the ideal of family size is high for families in Mohr. Besides, significant relationship was found between ideal of fertility and mental norms for desired children (P< 0.01), understood economic control (P< 0.01) but the relation with attitude toward children was not significant (P>0.05). Multifactor analysis showed that mental norm of desired number of children is the most important factor which affects the ideal number of children; in a way that it is responsible for 23 percent of the variance of ideal number of children. Overall, it can be concluded that most of the ideal of fertility can be described based on the planned behavior.
